In accordance with Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, notice is given herewith regarding the nature of the personal information in our possession, the way in which it is treated and to what purpose, and the manner of its disclosure, dissemination and transmission to third parties. The information concerned is exclusively personal information of a general nature.
FRENER & REIFER Metallbau GmbH guarantees that within the scope of the legal provisions, the treatment of personal information shall take place with regard to fundamental rights and freedoms and the dignity of the interested person, with particular reference to confidentiality, to personal identity, and the right to the protection of personal information.
1. Treatment of information
Information handling shall be carried out by a specially trained employee. This may or may not be via electronic means and shall include all of the operations provided for by Article 4, Paragraph 1, Section a) of Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003 deemed appropriate to the processing in question. In any case, processing shall be carried out in compliance with the provisions guaranteeing security and confidentiality.
2. Purposes of treatmen
- Fulfilment of legal obligations, regulations and EU standards, as well as civil and fiscal regulations.
- Fulfilment of potential contractual obligations vis-à-vis interested parties.
- Performance of activities connected with the business operations of our company such as e.g. completion of internal statistics for financial accounting and the management of customer and supplier accounts.
- Commercial purposes, such as the sending of business information and publicity material (by post, fax and E-Mail), marketing and market research.
- Debt protection and liability management.
3. Transmission of information
With regard to the above mentioned objectives, personal data will, if required, be forwarded to:
- Individuals and/or corporate, public or private bodies (legal, administrative and tax-advisory offices, courts, chambers of commerce etc.), if forwarding proves to be necessary or appropriate in the manner, and with the corresponding objectives, described above.
- Banks and credit institutes with which FRENER & REIFER maintains business relationships regarding financial management, debts and liabilities.
- Freelancers and consultants
- Suppliers and businesses active in the transport sector.
- Public administrations (Civil Service) and authorities, if legally required.
4. Method of Notification
The communication of personal information is voluntary. However, we should inform you that this information is indispensable for conducting the operations described in section 2.
The holder of the data hereby notifies that non-notification or erroneous notification of the necessary information may have the following consequences:
- The holder of the information cannot guarantee agreement between information processing findings and contractual agreements for work to be executed.
- The potential lack of agreement between information processing findings and the duties and obligations defined by tax, administration and employment legislation.
5. Rights of interested parties.
Article 7 of the Legislative Decree permits interested parties the exercising of specific rights, including the right to obtain confirmation of the existence (or otherwise) of personal information from the holder thereof, and the right for this information to be made available to him in an understandable form. The interested party has the right to obtain information about the origin of the data in question, the purposes and methods of its processing, the system employed in the event that the data has been electronically processed, the most important data required to identify the holder of the information, and the person(s) or categories of persons to whom personal information may be communicated or who could become aware of the information.
The interested party has the right to check, verify, amend and add to his personal information and to request that information be deleted, blocked and made anonymous, in cases where processing violates legal requirements; he has the right to oppose the processing of personal information for legitimate reasons.
6. Treatment
Interested parties can invoke the rights under discussion by means of a request directed to the person responsible for data handling, in the form of a registered letter addressed to FRENER & REIFER Metallbau GmbH, Alfred Ammon Straße 31, 39042 Bressanone, Italy or an E-Mail directed to privacy@frener-reifer.com.
